Saturday June 8, 10:30pm Show Features –
GORGEOUS SOULFUL MUSIC:
If you were lucky enough to catch Hayden Stearns at a previous Rat or as Featured guest at Electric Stage showcase, you already know how fine his singing and instrumentals are. And we are thrilled to have Hayden bookend this show! (WATCH him here)
HIGH-KICKING DANCE TROUPE:
Moulin Rouge-style dazzle, costumery, Tap, Frug, acrobatic “circus” contortion, and Light Show — that’s the acclaimed international Guilty Pleasures Cabaret dance company! See why they’ve wowed crowds at Feinstein’s/54 Below, the Duplex, the Cutting Room and worldwide resorts from Dubai to Belize to China! (A monthly Rat Residency.)
HILARIOUS HOLLYWOOD COMEDIAN:
Subhah Agarwal is a writer/performer on The Jim Jefferies Show, highlighted in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 — and she is very very sharp and very very funny, navigating sex and love in NYC, straddling Indian and American family craziness. Welcome back, Subhah!
(WATCH her on TJJS: https://youtu.be/WUd08w9lmrA)
SPOOKY HISTORICAL… HOT BURLESQUE
Tabby Twitch (aka actor Jane Cortney) presents another signature performance: a beautiful, sexy, frightful, bizarre burlesque tribute to Henry VIII’s beheaded (ex-) wife, Anne Boleyn…
FUNNY SASSY CABARET GENT:
Back from his Nationwide tour, the funny, charming, lively Robb Coles sings and plays piano – and always entertains! (He’s proud to be hosting the FIRST-ever 2019 Delaware Pride Parade… and we’re proud of him, too!)
YOUR FAVE ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE:
The Rat would not be complete without our Artist-in-Residence: the funny, brilliant, and bizarre Bill Chambers. He brought us Henry Rollins’ Children’s Book Read-a-long, David Lee Roth’s Therapy Session, Vincenzo the Chain-Smoking Monkey, Neil Diamond’s True Crime Confessions. Expect the unexpected from this hilarious performance-art polymath. (Among his accolades: Opened the 2018 Gotham Storytelling Festival, and slew at the NY Times Critic’s Pick Sideshow Goshko.)
‘GERMAN ARISTOCRAT’ … OR CON MAN?
Is he “Germany’s Most Popular Comedian” … or escaped criminal? Continental kitsch and dark humor with Gregory Levine as aristocratic criminal Gregor of Berlin. Suave, sinister, witty and sarcastic, Herr Gregor regales the audience with horrid tales of warped Teutonic childhood, decadence, and of course, show-biz life. Gregory/Gregor has been seen in the Capital Fringe, Frigid Festival, Travel Channel, The Duplex, 54 Below, the PIT Comedy Theater and Guinness Book of World Records.
HOSTED by Stand Up Comic/Storyteller, Canadian Import Jillian Thomas (MTV Live, The Buzz, The Toronto Show, Listen Missy and Much Music’s Love Court). Not to mention the annual East Village Oscar Awards Party, and Canada’s longest-running cannabis-cafe comedy-club show!
Produced by Rob Dub and Gregory Levine
