Work That Dream at This New Open Mic!

Dream of performing in the Ten-Foot Rat Cabaret? Why not take the first step and strut your stuff, try your hand (and brain and voice, etcetera) at the new weekly Open Mic and Show run by a Rat co-producer: The Electric Stage!

Starting April 1st and running every Monday 9pm-11pm, Electric Stage is open to musicians, dancers, comedians, storytellers and every odd niche of theatrical art and entertainment. Workshop, experiment, polish: it’s your time.

Hosted by the Rat’s Gregory Levine (who also hosts and performs in other comedy and variety shows around NYC, including Guilty Pleasures Cabaret and Bitchcraft at Sid Gold’s Request Room), Electric Stage will also feature Guest Performers every week to spiff things up. (Some Guests will be familiar to Rat regulars, like the extraordinary Jackson Sturkey.)

Electric Stage with Gregory Levine is at the PIT Theater, 123 E. 24th St., bet. Park and Lexington Aves. Cover: $5 cash (only!) at the door.
